Hiding In The Ball Pit

A few weeks go I won the Lalaloopsy doll giveaway. I won one large doll of my choice and 12 mini dolls. I chose the magician because Jadzia had been asking for it for awhile. Last night the box arrived on our doorstep. Jadzia was at Bible school and I was able to sneak the minis away. I'm saving them for her birthday cake. She has been asking almost since her last birthday for a Lalaloopsy birthday cake.

I left the large magician doll on the counter, right where she would see it when she walked in. Below is her reaction to seeing the doll.\

Ronan had his eye surgery follow-up today. His doctor was pleased with the results and thinks Ronan won't need anymore surgeries. He doesn't need to see Ronan back for three months. I saw Ronan's eye glass prescription today and it is almost exactly the same as mine. Now I understand how poorly he sees without his glasses. I keep wondering when he'll realize the glasses are beneficial to him. I know I wouldn't survive too long without my glasses or contacts.
Ronan also had his therapy today and got to play in the ball pit. He looked so silly that I had to snap some pictures of him. Usually he's scared of the ball pit but today he loved it. He kept trying to completely hide himself in the balls. Maybe he thought if he hid well enough his therapist would forget his whereabouts.

Inara's vocabulary is growing more everyday and so is her coordination. She can smoothly go from the floor to standing. Ronan's therapists had told me that her talking might slow down when she's learning to walk but so far I've only seen an increase. I'll say a word and she repeats it back clearly. I've never heard a little kid speak so clearly. We'll I'm off to clean the house. I have laundry to get folded and the kids sent a toy tornado through my living room and there is the mountainous aftermath of lost toys spread everywhere. Tomorrow I have five people coming over to my house all to talk about the big man Ronan. It his annual Early intervention review. I get to hear about all his wonderful accomplishments.
