Playing Pots and Pans

Ronan had been grumpy for most of the day. Otherwise he was eating ok and playing some just very moody. I was wondering if this indicated he was getting sick. He was doing ok by the time we had to leave for signing class that I thought he would be ok to go.

Another little girl who is four months younger than him caught his eye. His gaze followed her wherever she went. Her mom sat down next to us with her daughter on her lap. Ronan clapped and the babies waved at each other. They took turns throwing a ball. It would seem he made a friend. Today's signing class was over getting along or manners would be an appropriate name as well. We learned: please, Thank you, Your turn, My turn, Share, stop, wait, go, help and a few others. I'm excited that both Isaac and I are expanding our signing vocabulary.
When we got back Ronan started acting grumpy again and also began to get lethargic. I touched his forehead and he felt hot. I took his temp which he was pretty mad about the thermometer intruding on his personal space. He had a 102 temp. The fever had come on quick because he had felt cool before that. Hopefully he'll be ok in the morning and he's not coming down with something serious.

Today I made Ronans pureed fruits and veggies for the next few days. Inara was a big help. She removed all the pots and pans from the cupboard. After playing some pan drums she proceeded to climb into the cabinet.

She also discovered how to flush the toilet. She thinks it is funny to flush it over and over. Not the best game in the world. But at least it's one less step she has to learn whenever she starts potty training. Plus she gets a lot of practice washing her hands.
